We understand the the resurfacing of a pool is a major investment, so GD's Tile & pool plastering recommends the following care be done in order to protect your new pool finish and give you years of enjoyment.
First Week
Brush all sidewalls and floors 2 times daily, you can use vacuum after two weeks
MANTAIN water level to middle of tile
BRUSH all sidewalls and floors 3 times per week with pool brush.
VACUUM pool same day as brushing.
CLEAN FILTER jet with hose after vacuum.
MAINTAIN water level to middle of tile.
BRUSH all sidewalls and floors weekly.
VACUUM pool floor weekly.
CLEAN FILTER jet with hose daily after vaccum
weekly.
MAINTAIN proper water balance - PH 7.4 to 7.6 and
Alkalinity 80
to 100 ppm.
MAINTAIN water level to middle of tile.
BRUSH all sidewalls and floors weekly.
VACUUM pool floor weekly.
CLEAN FILTER jet hose daily after vacuum weekly.
MAINTAIN proper water valance - IDEAL LEVELS
PH 7.2 to 7.6, Alkalinity 80 to 100 ppm,
"ALWAYS" maintain water level at the middle of tile
in order to avoid damage to the pool equipment.
NOTE: Always check for leaks around the pool equipment area. If any, please turn the valve to the main drain only position, refill pool and contact a pool care service for repair.
You may wish to hire a reliable pool service to help you maintain your pool, however you will also need to apply proper care.
